In 2018, we experienced issues on the tenant side of the FBMA building where certain areas of the sub floor had started buckling. This caused us to have contractors remove the carpet completely, replace the bad subfloor with VanTech T&G MDF subfloor and install all new carpeting.
Unfortunately, the floors once again began to buckle after all of this work was completed which caused us to start the repair process again. These repeat repairs would have resulted in a major financial expense for FBMA without the generous financial support from these three members:
U.S. Lumber – donated all the building material for the flooring repairs
Big Deal Discount – provided the new vinyl flooring at their cost
RoMac Lumber, Mt. Dora – stored the material, delivered and unloaded the flooring to the FBMA office
We are happy to report that the repairs on the tenant side of our building are almost done!
