The Florida Building Material Association understood the importance of identifying and training strong, knowledgeable leaders to be a part of your organization.
Our program "Aspiring Leaders - The NEXT Group" began in 2015 and has become one of our most successful programs for our members. This year’s program will help you determine if any of your current staff are future leaders and are interested in a career in management.
Aspiring Leaders - The NEXT Group stands for New Executive Training. This program is designed to give each attendee a brief insight and limited exposure to many of the areas we call our day-to-day business.
There will be six classes given and you must attend all six classes to graduate. The classes will be held at the FBMA headquarters located at 1303 Limit Avenue in Mt. Dora. There will be three days of classes with two sessions each day. The classes will begin at 10:00 a.m. and should end by 3:30 p.m.
Our instructors or “mentors” as we call them, will teach and share their knowledge and personal experiences with the attendees on topics such as Sales; Human Resources; Marketing; Effective Management; Finance and Operations.
The dates are: July 13th, July 27th, and August 17th.
Graduation will be held at the Kick-Off Breakfast during FBMA’s Convention at Rosen Shingle Creek Resort and Convention Center with plaque presentations and pictures. The total cost per participant is $399. Lunch will be provided for all three sessions.
